I live in Sanger country and it's nice to sitdown locally and get some Japanese food. Good food and the fish is always fresh. The Mellow Yellow roll is my favorite. If they don't get more customers they will likely close. This is a clean, friendly resturant.

This is a really nice sushi place in our lil town . The hubby likes his fire cracker chicken & steak bento box & of course I get my sake & the chefs are so awesome to cut up orange slices for my sake! oh & I get the teriyaki chicken bowl & other foods too. Everything very fresh & delicious.! The service is really good & very nice. Understandably.They do get busy sometimes so it's a bit of wait at times. I really recommend this place .

Loved the food :) I used to eat here when I was younger, around 2018-2019, and the food has stayed just as great as it was when I first tried it. All staff are very friendly people and have personality that makes you feel comfortable when you walk in and not awkward like some restaurants can feel. I also love the vibes in general! Restaurant is very cute i.m.o. The food was amazing as usual, and if you're wanting to eat on a budget, I recommend one of the 'Bento Boxes'. It's only around $20-25 and it has a great selection of food for that price and will definitely leave you feeling full and satisfied. It comes with plenty of appetizer and the main dish has so much to it that you won't worry about still being hungry after! P.S, I don't know what that 1 star review was talking about.. they very obviously use sushi rice in the rolls, and plenty of people in Sanger love this joint. Sanger staple!

Best sit-down Japanese restaurant in Sanger. I know that's not saying a ton as we are lacking variety wise here. But it's a quality Japanese restaurant. I have been pleasantly surprised with pretty much any item ordered here. Pretty good selection of rolls, meals, bento boxes etc. Indoor dining is a work in progress last time I was there they were still working on the bar. Staff are friendly and their kitchen is always full so food comes quick and to expectations. I was unaware of spice level on a certain dish and they remade it without hesitation to my liking.

Was looking for a place to take my mom for lunch in Sanger and the options were limited. I was so happy to find this place. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant is clean. We had the chiquito bowls and a shrimp tempura appetizer. The tempura was perfectly cooked, the shrimp were enormous and the dipping sauce was subtle. The chiquito bowls were inexpensive and perfectly portioned. I saved half and still didn't finish it at dinner. My favorite part was the fried rice which was not shy of bacon. All three chicken toppings were fresh and full of flavor. Our server kept checking in and making sure we didn't need anything. All staff was friendly. Can't wait to come back and try the sushi.

The food is really good really fresh . My hubby likes this place. His new favorite is the firecracker chicken.. a lil bit makes it's way home for his leftovers lol ! We always get cucumber salad that's really tasty. The waitresses are really nice & the chefs are awesome too.. when I get my sake I ask for oranges with it & they're so nice to accommodate me when available & slice them nice & presentable. This place is a lil pricey though specially the sake but it is a lil town either way I recommend lunch or dinner. & they do have a lil outside seat.

1/13/24 Getting lunch! Las Vegas roll made spicy, Apache roll & jalapeño poppers ordered! The worker was kind and said it would be ready in 20-25 min. I went in to get it. Greeted upon entering ant worker was very kind. Order was ready. I paid for it and was offered wasabi & ginger and the worker got it for me and wished a good day! Really nice restaurant. Calm atmosphere. Plenty of seating with big screen TVs on the wall. Lunchtime! Order split. My half was really Great & Delicious! Flavorful! Jalapeño poppers had a fresh & Great flavor! Nice, spicy kick included! Fresh ginger too! Mother felt the same! Plus,, its a large amount of food! After split, we have the exact same amount for lunch tomorrow! Great! The only negative is I wish there was more wasabi. They give a really small amount. Not enough. Great service & Great, Delicious lunch! Highly recommended!
